Our goal is to make patient scheduling as
easy as possible for you. We want to be your one-stop shopping
selection for imaging and our motto is "if we can't schedule
it, we'll schedule it somewhere else for you."
To schedule a study, simply call (574) 243-0100.
We'll do everything possible to arrange a time that meets
the patient's and the referring physician's needs. At the
time of your call we'll try to obtain all of the necessary
insurance and demographic information for the preregistration
of your patient, or if it is more convenient for you, you
can FAX this information to us later at (574) 243-2965. We
try to pre-register most of our patients in order to expedite
their service once they arrive at XRCMI.
Please remember that as a matter of regulatory
compliance, XRCMI does require a written order with a physician's
signature for all studies other than screening mammograms.
We also require a diagnosis (or diagnosis code) and any relevant
signs and symptoms which are necessitating the study. This
information can be easily supplied to us on the XRCMI Procedure
Order Sheets which have been provided to your office. These
order sheets, once signed, can be Faxed to us or brought in
by the patient. In the event a patient arrives for a study
and we have not received an order, we will call your office
for a verbal order to proceed, pending the arrival of the
signed, written order.
