X-Ray Consultants is proud to introduce Sandra Roland, MD, as the newest member of our group. Born in Canada, Dr. Roland comes to us from the Chicagoland area, where she was raised and educated.

Dr. Roland did her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received a B.S. in biochemistry. Her medical school training was at Rush Medical College, followed by an internship at Columbus Hospital, both in Chicago. Dr. Roland then did her radiology residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and a fellowship in interventional radiology at Northwestern University. Following her training, Dr. Roland served in private practice in Illinois for six years prior joining X-Ray Consultants.

Being an interventional radiologist, Dr. Roland is obviously very interested in minimally-invasive treatments for vascular disease, which will make her a valuable addition to X-Ray Consultant's Legacy Vein Clinic & Medical Spa, given her past experience with laser ablation of varicose veins. She also has a special interest in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging, oncologic imaging/interventions, uterine artery embolization and fertility procedures, as well as pain management.

Outside of work, Dr. Roland.s first priority is spending family time with her husband and young son. As a family they are beginning to explore the Michiana community and find out all that it has to offer. Dr. Roland also plays the piano as a hobby and enjoys travel and reading.
